Shawn Ryan is also one of the founders of SafeJourney and lives on-site. He earned a graduate degree in Social Work specializing in end-of-life and palliative care. Shawn is committed to inspiring human potential through the Human-Animal-Earth connection and is intrigued by the special ways animals help us heal. As a fellow in an animal-assisted therapy program, Shawn worked to improve the lives of at-risk youth. He is skilled at understanding dog behavior, using motivational techniques in training, and establishing good working relationships between canines and humans.
